First I'd like to address that my career has taught me the importance of listening to the client. Understanding your needs and expectations is paramount.

My journey into arboriculture began at the age of 22 while studying at Prescott College in Arizona. It was there that I joined a trail-building crew, tasked with the restoration and construction of trails on the north side of the Grand Canyon.

My career took a pivotal turn when I entered the realm of wilderness firefighting. In this high-stakes field, selecting the right tool is crucial—a matter of life and death. I gravitated towards the chainsaw, a decision that underscored my tenure as a Hotshot and Smokejumper over eight years. These roles honed my chainsaw skills to near perfection, teaching me the art of precise cutting.

Transitioning into private and commercial arborist work, I spent six years mastering the technical aspects of the profession. This period enriched my expertise in climbing and safely removing hazardous trees, areas requiring not only physical agility but also a deep understanding of tree biology and mechanics.
Above all, my career has taught me the importance of listening to the client. In arboriculture, understanding the client's needs and expectations is paramount. It's not just about offering solutions but providing informed, accurate advice that aligns with their desires. This principle has been the cornerstone of my approach, ensuring that my work not only meets but exceeds client expectations.
